I create mixed media work with my own paintings on paper. The paintings are hand cut and reconfigured onto wood panel. While my work is abstract, it is inspired by natural landscapes, particularly California open spaces.

Guided by a rhythm of breaking and reforming, I construct paintings and installations through layered patterns and cut-out shapes. I am particularly intrigued by the concept of resurrection—creating something new from what was destroyed. The resulting patterns mimic the natural cycles of destruction and renewal inherent to California. I aim to reflect the stability of passing time found in granite, wood grain, and topography.
